This roof pack includes Stage 1 Sound Deadener, which installs directly onto the metal roof skin. As a result, it reduces panel resonance and eliminates the “cymbal” or “pebble in the pond” effect caused by rain and road vibration. Most Ranger roofs require 7–8 sheets; however, each box includes 12 sheets, so you can also treat the front doors if needed.
In addition, the pre-cut Insul-Layer fits your Ford Ranger perfectly. This lightweight, closed-cell foam sits neatly under the factory headliner. Because it is only 6mm thick, it lowers cabin noise while also reducing heat transfer without affecting fitment.
To ensure a clean and secure install, the kit also includes an application roller. This allows you to apply even pressure, helping the adhesive bond properly across the entire surface.
